50 Cent rejected Donald Trump's $3 million offer to perform at the MSG Rally

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson says he turned down a $3 million offer from Donald Trump and the Republican Party to perform at Trump's Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday night.

“I got a call, they wanted me (for) Sunday,” the rapper and TV mogul said The breakfast club Tuesday morning when a guest asked him if he had been asked to support the former president as he campaigned to return to the White House.

“They offered me $3 million,” 50 Cent revealed, also confirming that he had been asked to perform the song “Many Men (Wish Death)” at the Republican National Convention this summer. But he also declined that invitation.

Hulk Hogan, Dr. Phil McGraw, Dana White and Elon Musk spoke in support of Trump at a rally at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday.

50 Cent said conversations with the Republican Party about performances and endorsements didn't happen because “I'm afraid of politics, so you know? I don't like any part of politics. It's because when you get involved in politics, no matter how you feel, someone strongly disagrees with you.

50 Cent added that he also stays away from religion, as well as politics. “This is the formula of confusion that brought Kanye (West) to Japan. He said something about both – and now he can only go to Japan,” he said.

The breakfast club the hosts then said they had to end the interview with 50 Cent because they had Vice President Kamala Harris on the line and jokingly asked if their guest wanted to say hello. At that point, 50 Cent stood up from his seat in mock indignation and asked, “Why did you guys put me in this shit! I thought we were okay? What are you doing, man?”

The rapper then hugged the podcast hosts amid laughter at the end of the interview.

The Hollywood journalist contacted Trump campaign representatives.
