James Gray has lined up a first-rate cast for his next feature film Paper tiger.
Adam Driver, Jeremy Strong and Anne Hathaway will star in the film package based on an original screenplay by Gray. Vincent Maraval and Kim Fox, Veterans, will oversee international sales rights next week at the American Film Market, with CAA Media Finance representing domestic rights.
Leone Film Group fully finances the film that Raffaella Leone is producing together with Rodrigo Teixeira for RT Features.
Filming will begin in early 2025 for the crime drama that centers on two brothers who get caught up in a plan that isn't quite what it seems. Their bond is put to the test when they become involved in a world of violence and corruption, finding themselves targeted by the Russian “Mafiya”.
Driver is a two-time Oscar-nominated actor who recently finished production on the film directed by Jim Jarmusch Father, mother, sister, brother. His recent titles include Megalopolis, Ferrari, 65 AND White noise.
Gray recently directed the 2022 drama film Armageddon time with Hathaway and Strong. He previously directed To Astra AND The Lost City of Z.
Hathaway was recently seen in the Amazon film The idea of youand his upcoming projects include via Fiorevale, Mother Mary AND The Princess Diaries 3. Strong, with which he broke out Successionrecently appeared in The Apprentice and will soon be seen in the Bruce Springsteen biopic Free me from nothing.
