Adrianne Palicki and Cassandra Scerbo will star in The Wolf and the Lamb

Truth or Dareby Cassandra Scerbo, John Wick the actress Adrianne Palicki, Hostile's Q'orianka Kilcher and Brave heartAngus Macfadyen came on board The wolf and the lamb, a popular horror/thriller from writer and director Michael Schilf.

The genre film is set during the Western expansion of the 1870s and is filmed in Montana. Scerbo plays a widowed teacher searching for her only son, played by Jaydon Clark (The newbie), who is the latest missing child in a tight-knit mining camp. But when the son miraculously returns, he is more monster than man.

Scerbo is known for playing Nova Clark in the film Sharknado film series and appearances in Great Hotel AND Guerrilla Television series. Friday night lights the Palicki alum is also known for his performances on the ABC drama Marvel Agents of SHIELD and Seth MacFarlane's Fox comedy-drama The Orville.

Kilcher's big break came at age 14 when she played the role of Pocahontas alongside Colin Farrell and Christian Bale in Terrence Malick's film. The New World. She also appeared on TNT The alienist as Mary Palmer. Madfadyen played Robert the Bruce in Mel Gibson's Oscar-winning film Brave heart.

The cast includes Eric Nelsen, Sammi Rotibi, James Landry Hebert, Zach McGowan, Elias Kacavas and Clint Howard. Rounding out the cast are Kevin Keppy, Mike Manning, Rob Nagle, Hanna Balicki and William Rothlein.

The wolf and the lamb is produced by Chase Kuker, Jordan Kuker and Miah Smith of Lunar Door, and Nicholas Clark and Jordan Wagner. James Macmillan and Scerbo of One Of One, together with Ve Neill (Beetle juice) and Manning will serve as executive producer.

Winter State Entertainment will handle post-production on the film. Kilcher is repped by Buchwald and Strand Entertainment, while Scerbo is repped by The Park Agency and Strong Management. Palicki is repped by Paradigm and Anonymous Content, while Macfadyen is repped by Kramer Management.
