Aidy Bryant will return to host the 2025 Independent Spirit Awards

Aidy Bryant will return to host the Independent Spirit Awards in 2025, Film Independent announced Wednesday.

The comedian hosted the 39th annual awards show in February. This year's nominees will be announced on December 4, while the 2025 show will take place on February 22, 2025. It will also be streamed live on the IMDb and Film Independent YouTube channels.

“We couldn't ask for a better host for our 40th anniversary! As we prepare to celebrate this incredible milestone by honoring outstanding achievements and contributions in the independent world, we welcome Aidy with open arms. After its unforgettable breakthrough last year, we can once again anticipate an evening full of laughter, inspiration and recognition of excellence,” says Josh Welsh, president of Film Independent.

Bryant was a cast member for ten years Saturday evening live and has three Primetime Emmy Award nominations to his name.
