Aidy Bryant will return to host the Independent Spirit Awards in 2025, Film Independent announced Wednesday.
The comedian hosted the 39th annual awards show in February. This year's nominees will be announced on December 4, while the 2025 show will take place on February 22, 2025. It will also be streamed live on the IMDb and Film Independent YouTube channels.

After its unforgettable breakthrough last year, we can once again anticipate an evening full of laughter, inspiration and recognition of excellence,” says Josh Welsh, president of Film Independent.
Bryant was a cast member for ten years Saturday evening live and has three Primetime Emmy Award nominations to his name. His other credits also include UTV The indestructible Kimmy Schmidt for Netflix, IFC Portlandia AND Documentary now as well as Comedy Central's Large city and a recurring role on the HBO series Girls. She is also a co-creator, executive producer and star of Hulu Striking. As far as features go, its resume includes The Big Sick AND I feel pretty. It was recently announced that he will star in the second season of Apple TV+ Platonic alongside Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen, as well as All In: Simon Rich's comedy about love by director Alex Timbers and producer Lorne Michaels. He also recently signed an overall deal with Universal Television.
