Al B. Shore! Suggests Diddy's Involvement in Kim Porter's 2018 Death

A week after Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest, upstart jack swinger Al B. Sure! took to Instagram to detail what he claims is a vast conspiracy surrounding the 2018 death of model-turned-actress Kim Porter, his former flame and then, after their breakup, on-and-off partner of the recently incarcerated mogul, whose alleged knowledge of his alleged sex trafficking led to her death, the R&B singer suggests in his request for an investigation.

On Monday, Al B. Sure!, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown, detailed what he says was the work of multiple individuals surrounding Brown at the time of his death from lobar pneumonia; in the four posts, which feature images of the former couple and pages from his memoir, Brown refers to Porter’s 2018 death as a “tragic murder.”

“Simply put, Kimberly was allegedly taken from us because she was destined to accomplish what Ms. Cassie Ventura did by lighting Bon's fire. [sic] which brings us here today,” Brown wrote.

In his request for an investigation by authorities, Brown suggests that anyone near Porter's home, particularly any publicist, should be questioned by law enforcement, as he accuses them of a conspiracy to prevent the publication of Porter's book. He claims this involved switching pages of his manuscript with others so that the inflammatory details would never be published. Brown says he learned what Porter intended to include in his memoirs from “frequent and intimate conversations in his selfless attempts to save my life.”

Brown also claims that he was ignored by authorities for years while he attempted to expose the alleged cover-up and was even “medically silenced” while working to expose the truth. In 2023, he fell into a coma after being intubated while hospitalized for multiple illnesses. He received a liver transplant and survived the ordeal, which he described on Instagram as “multi-organ failure, septic, intubated, on a ventilator for 38 days and forced to visit death’s door.”

Porter was found dead in her home in Toluca Lake, California, in 2018 after days of flu-like symptoms. The medical examiner initially listed Porter's cause of death as “delayed,” but later changed it to lobar pneumonia. Porter was in a sporadic relationship with Diddy until 2017; in addition to the three children she and Diddy had together (Christian Combs and twins, D'Lila and Jessie Combs), Porter had a son, Quincy Brown, with Brown.

In her four Instagram posts, Brown references allegedly stolen notes intended to be included in Porter's memoir and claims that his devices, including a computer, are missing, suggesting some sort of cover-up surrounding the book and his death. Brown's references to Ventura and a “recently released public charging document” further unsubtly suggest that Combs was involved in Porter's death, apparently to hush up certain details in his memoir.

“Ms. Porter's missing devices, supposedly already in evidence, undoubtedly contain critical evidence that has been suppressed. I am satisfied that the evidence closely corroborates the details outlined in the recently released public charging document. Furthermore, it is pertinent to note that individuals involved in this matter may also be connected to the cover-up of the alleged murders of several prominent entertainers,” Brown wrote, adding cryptically that “many were baffled,” but entertainment industry insiders should “have a clearer grasp of the obvious.”

An email to Combs Global seeking comment from a representative for the incarcerated mogul was not immediately returned Monday. Combs has been in custody for a week following his arrest on federal trafficking and RICO charges.
