Exhibit theater giant AMC Theatres has elected Marcus Glover, chief financial officer of Bally’s Corporation, to its board of directors, effective September 12.
Glover, who has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the casino and entertainment company since May 2023, will serve as a Class 1 director with a term expiring at AMC Theatres’ 2027 annual meeting of shareholders. He will serve on the board’s audit committee.
“Glover brings to the board extensive financial, operational and management experience, including as CFO of a publicly traded company,” AMC Theatres said.
Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Strategy Officer for QPSI LLC, a contract packaging and supply chain solutions company, from October 2021 to May 2023. Previously, Glover served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa, and President and Chief Operating Officer of Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. He has also held various senior executive roles at Caesars Entertainment.
“The addition of Marcus Glover to the AMC Board of Directors is a great asset to everyone who works for and supports the success of AMC,” said AMC Chairman and CEO Adam Aron. “Marcus brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the AMC Board of Directors, particularly in the areas of customer service, employee satisfaction and finance. I look forward to working with him and all of our Board members as we continue to deliver for our guests, shareholders and partners.”
Glover added: “AMC is a company I have long admired for its innovation in entertainment, and one I visit regularly as a moviegoer. I look forward to working with my fellow board members and the AMC management team as the company continues its journey as an industry leader.”
