A third episode of Comedy Fantasy Camp will be a reality in 2025.
Scheduled for January 23-26, the unique event offers comedy aspirants of all levels the chance to learn the ins and outs of the industry from those who know it well. Jay Leno, Adam Carolla, Natasha Leggero, Brad Williams and Patrick Warburton will headline with additional special guests expected to be announced in the coming months. Comedy professionals will mentor, coach and guide participants in different aspects of the art form, from writing and stand-up to timing, performance and more.
Leggero will take on the role of head counselor which will see her rally the campers and share her expertise with them across all four days. According to the organizers, the camp program includes interactive workshops, panels, interactive sessions and more. Participants will be divided into small groups as they focus on developing comedic styles under the guidance of their professional mentors. They will create, refine, and refine material throughout camp, all leading up to the grand finale: Campers will have the chance to perform their new stand-up comedy shows on the Hollywood Improv stage.
“I like talking to comics, and comics like helping other comics,” Leno said in a statement. “I have more in common with comedians than with some people I've known my whole life. Writing jokes is the hardest thing in the world. Words have power – you have to learn how to use them.
Carolla added, “I'm so happy to be back in the business for our next Comedy Fantasy Camp and with my friend Jay Leno.”
Comedy Fantasy Camp is produced as a collaboration between Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp, a musical version that, for 28 years, has allowed aspiring musicians the chance to play with rock legends like Slash and Roger Daltrey, as well as collaborate with The Adam Carolla Show.
