Dave Chappelle and Killer Mike are on the road.
The two are teaming up for a co-headlining tour called Still Talkin' That Sh*t that will see the stand-up superstar and Grammy Award-winning rapper and producer make seven stops across the United States next month. The tour will begin at the Fox Theater in Detroit on November 15, before traveling to Atlanta, Rosemont, Illinois, Boston, New York and Oakland. It will conclude at the Terrace Theater in Long Beach on November 24.
According to reports, the event promises to be another of Chappelle's unique affairs as it is described as “a fusion of music and comedy in one joint set.” He often invites his musical friends to join him on stage, although this outing marks the first time he will co-headline with a music industry giant. But if you're planning on buying tickets, you've been warned: No phones allowed.
“This event will be a phone-free experience. The use of phones, smartwatches and accessories in the performance space will not be permitted. Upon arrival on site, all phones, smartwatches and accessories will be placed in individual Yondr bags which will be opened at the end of the event,” according to Live Nation. “Anyone seen using a device (phone, smartwatch or accessories) during the show will be escorted from the venue by security.” Chappelle and his Pilot Boy Prods. will own all rights to the show's content and materials.
