Elizabeth Olsen is still open to the idea of donning her super suit and returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The evaluation The actress has played Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, in the Marvel Universe since 2015. Avengers: Age of Ultroneven in his TV series, WandaVisionin 2021. His most recent appearance as a superhero was in 2022 Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness.
“It's a character that I love to come back to when there's a way to use it well, and I think I was lucky because when I started out I was used well within Age of Ultron“, Olsen said of the role during a recent interview with Dublin radio station FM104. “And then, I think for a second people didn't know what to do with me.”
However, he said that ultimately “they were able to use the character well in interesting ways to tell stories in ways that they hadn't done yet,” particularly with WandaVisionwhich earned her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Anthology Movie.
“So if there’s a good way to use it, I’m always happy to come back, in whatever way they can make sense of it,” Olsen admitted.
THE Love and Death The star has previously been vocal about wanting to explore characters outside of the MCU, as he gets “satisfaction from variation.”
“It's not that I don't want to be associated with just this one character, but I really feel like I have to build other parts for balance. I really want to make movies right now,” Olsen said. The Times of London in September 2023. “And I hope that some of them come together in the way that I think they can. But yeah, it's something that I need. I just need more, more characters in my life. There's no longevity in a character.”
