'Goosebumps: The Vanishing' Trailer: David Schwimmer Acts Suspiciously

David Schwimmer may be freaking out when he starts acting incredibly erratic in the official trailer Goosebumps: the disappearance.

“I want you to have a really fun, safe summer out here,” Schwimmer's Anthony says to his twins Cece (Jayden Bartels) and Devin (Sam McCarthy) at the beginning of the trailer when they arrive at his Brooklyn home for the summer in IL Goosebumps second season of the anthology series. “I only have one rule: stay out of the basement.”

As things begin to go wrong, Anthony may be behind everything as he investigates his brother's death when they were children and went missing.

According to the series logline, “A threat is stirring and [the kids] they soon realize that among these are dark secrets, triggering a chain of events that reveal a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, Cece, Devin and their friends – Alex (Francesca Noel), CJ (Elijah M. Cooper) and Frankie (Galilea La Salvia) – find themselves entangled in the chilling story of four teenagers who mysteriously disappeared in 1994. .”

Ana Ortiz completes the cast of the show. She plays Jen, a police detective who remains rooted in her Brooklyn neighborhood after experiencing a tragic event involving her friends during her teenage years.

Goosebumps was originally a limited series but was turned into an anthology after the first season, starring Justin Long and Rachael Harris, hit Disney+. According to Nielsen data, it accumulated 1.9 billion minutes of viewing in the United States in the four weeks following its October 2023 premiere.

Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman developed the series, produced by Sony Pictures Television, for Disney Branded Television. Hilary Winston and Letterman serve as showrunners and executive producers, along with Stoller, Neal H. Moritz, Iole Lucchese, Pavun Shetty, Conor Welch, Caitlin Friedman, Erin O'Malley, James Eagan and Karl Frankenfield.

All eight episodes of Goosebumps: the disappearance will arrive on Disney+ and Hulu on January 10, 2025.
