Harrison Ford endorses Kamala Harris-Tim Walz days before 2024 election

Harrison Ford will vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in this year's presidential election.

THE Shrinking The star released three videos in collaboration with the Harris-Walz campaign, in which she explains her decision to support the vice president over Donald Trump.

“When dozens of former members of the Trump administration are sounding the alarm, saying, 'For the love of God, don't do this again,' you have to pay attention,” Ford said in a video (above). “They are telling us something important. These are not soft people. They are governors, generals, who oppose the leader of the party they have spent their lives defending.”

He explained that for many people this will be the first time they vote for someone who doesn't have an “R” for Republican next to the names listed because “they know this really matters.”

“The truth is, Kamala Harris will protect your right to disagree with her on policies or ideas and then, as we have for centuries, we will debate them. We will work on them together and move forward,” the Indiana Jones Stella continued. “The other guy, demands unconditional loyalty, says he wants revenge. I'm Harrison Ford. I have a vote, like everyone else, and I will use it to move forward. I will vote for Kamala Harris.

In another video released in conjunction with the campaign, Ford stressed that he does not agree with Harris and Walz on every single policy, nor does he think they are perfect, but that “these two people believe in the rule of law.”

“They believe in science,” he continued. “They believe that when you govern, you do so for all Americans. They believe we are in this together. These are the ideas I believe in. These are the people I can support.”

THE Star Wars The star also noted in a third video that he's frustrated with “a lot of things in this country,” as if he's “sure” other people are, too. “But the other guy, he spent four years pitting us against each other while embracing dictators and tyrants around the world,” he added. “That's not who we are. We don't need to make America great again. Come on, we're great, but what we need is more work together. What we need is a president who still works for all of us.”

Ford joins numerous celebrities supporting Harris and Walz, including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, George Clooney, Bruce Springsteen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Megan Thee Stallion, Michael Keaton, Eminem, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bad Bunny and Arnold Schwarzenegger, among others .
