During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy FallonThe actress has called the original 1996 comedy starring Adam Sandler her “favorite movie” and its lead character her “first crush.” So when she learned about the upcoming Netflix sequel, she was determined to do whatever it took to appear in the film.
“I saw that there would be a Good Gilmore 2 and I immediately emailed my agents and said, 'Whatever it takes, no part is too small. Please. I have to be a part of this, please. Please. Whatever it takes,'” Qualley recalled.
Host Jimmy Fallon then showed a text message conversation between Antonoff and Sandler, in which the Murder Mystery 2 The star asked: “Does your wife play golf?” The Bleachers frontman replied: “Yeah, she's actually good at it.”
However, this was not necessarily the truth.
“What a good husband. And I don't know how to play golf,” Qualley admitted. “He lied for the good of the family. … I've never played a day of golf in my life. I'm terrible at it, actually.”
