Jay Leno is not a fan of Donald Trump, but he has positive words for Election Day in general.
The first Tonight's show host appeared on Wednesday's episode of the CBS daytime show The speechwhere he said the results of the November 5 presidential election marked “a great day for democracy.”
“There was no cheating; everyone said he was honest,” he said.
Speak Co-host Natalie Morales also asked Leno what he remembered about hosting an episode of his late-night talk show the day after a big election.
“It was different in my day,” he said. “You fooled both sides.” He continued: “So you got angry letters from both sides. Now you have to take a stand. It's a little different, but the great thing about this election is that it was fair. I wasn't a fan, but that's okay. He is the president of the United States. Let's all get together, thank you very much.”

John Cusack wrote in a now-deleted post: “The fact that the country chooses to destroy itself by voting for a convicted Nazi and rapist criminal is a sign of profound nihilism. To put it mildly.”
