Jennifer Aniston says she'll vote for 'mental health and human decency'

Jennifer Aniston had a strong political message to share after officially endorsing Kamala Harris.

The Emmy-winning actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce that she “very proudly voted for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.” But he also addressed some words to others who will be voting in the 2024 elections.

“Hello friends. Today I not only voted for access to healthcare, for reproductive freedom, for equal rights, for safe schools and for a fair economy, but also for HEALTH and HUMAN DECENCE,” he wrote. “Please remember that whoever you are and wherever you live, your voice matters. Your VOTE counts.”

He continued: “I know we don't agree on everything, and that's the beauty of this country, but GOOD LORD, aren't you tired of this negativity towards each other? The constant intimidation and threats towards those who don't think like others? Please, let's end this era of fear, chaos and attacks on our democracy – and vote for someone who unites us and doesn't continue to threaten to divide us.”

“We are so lucky that we can VOTE and this election is in our hands!” Aniston has concluded her assignment. “We only have one week until Election Day, so talk to your friends, your family, your neighbors and let's find our way back to each other with respect, common cause and LOVE.”

Earlier this year, the Friends alum criticized Donald Trump's running mate JD Vance for his resurfaced comments in 2021 about women who haven't given birth.

“I truly cannot believe this is coming from a potential Vice President of the United States,” Aniston wrote on her social media at the time. “All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter will be blessed to have children someday. I hope she won't need to resort to IVF as a second option. Because you're trying to take that away from him too.”
