The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation has added an EGOT winner to the program for the upcoming Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS.
Jennifer Hudson is set to receive the first Elizabeth Taylor Rowdy Activist Award at the fundraising gala, recognized for “her continued support of people living with HIV and the LGBTQ+ community,” according to the foundation. Joining the festivities will be Natasha Bedingfield, who will take the stage and perform. As previously announced, Gap Chairman and CEO Richard Dickson will receive the Elizabeth Taylor Commitment to End AIDS Award while Pose revelation Dominique Jackson will be the presenter.
The ball, supported by presenting sponsor Gilead Sciences, will be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on September 26. In addition to a seated dinner, live performance and awards program, the event will include a live auction in partnership with Christie’s and exclusive viewings of items from the Elizabeth Taylor archive.
