John Ortiz, currently seen in the Apple TV comedy-crime drama series Bad monkeyjoined the cast of Nobody 2the sequel to the surprising 2021 hit produced by 87North.
Bob Odenkirk reprises his role as a mild-mannered family man who secretly serves as a former government assassin. The call sheet also includes Connie Nielsen, Sharon Stone, Christopher Lloyd and Colin Hanks.
Indonesian director Timo Tjahjanto, known for his horror and action films such as May the devil take you and segments of the V/C/S rate, is directing the film currently in production in Winnipeg.

Universal plans to release Nobody 2 in theaters August 15, 2025.
Odenkirk is producing the action thriller alongside Kelly McCormick and David Leitch, who are producing through their Universal-based 87North banner. Marc Provissiero (No hard feelings) of Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Braden Aftergood of Eighty Two Films are producing the film.
Ortiz was last seen on the big screen in the Chris Pine film The lifeguard and alongside Jeffrey Wright in the Oscar-winning film American fiction.
