Your hidden restaurant or bar in Las Vegas?
Bavettes at Park MGM or anywhere in Area 15 – Meow Wolf is a lot of fun. When a place has a sign outside that says “Illegal drugs not encouraged” you know it's worth a visit!
In Las Vegas you have to…
Hike to Red Rock, go ATVing (you might die but it's so much fun), play craps, leave your reasonable self at the airport and give it a try.
In Las Vegas you should never…
Sleep or leave your boyfriend in a bar because he will pounce on my many women of the night even if you just went to the bathroom.
What is the most accurate stereotype of Las Vegas?
It is the city of sin. And it is. If you get into the car you can feel the tension building as you get faster and faster on that freeway.
What's the most inaccurate thing?
Which is fascinating. It's a sad, dirty place where there are too many sad, broken people trying to find the winning hand. Yes, there's sports, culture, art, fountains, twinkling lights and even great restaurants, but that element of the lost soul is undeniable.
What movie or TV show has (an aspect of) Las Vegas, right?
Hangover, Very bad things, CSI.
Which movie or series is wrong?
All the Oceans movies but they are so good so who cares about accuracy! Oh and CSI lol.
The best place to experience the real Las Vegas?
Anywhere not on the Strip lol. But it's all REAL, isn't it, including the strip, the casinos, the bars, the overpriced restaurants, the shows, it's all real.
Where to go to escape the strip?
The red rock mountains of Summerlin or Mount Charleston for skiing or closer to town, Area 15 or back to Los Angeles – it's much better here.
Your most interesting and funniest celebrity interaction?
OH!!!!! Waiting for Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to enter the Mirage's VIP super suite to sit and talk about The Beatles: eight days a week. As I stood there waiting for them to come in, I had a moment of madness. I had to quickly compose myself so I could talk to them and sound like a professional. Luckily I'm not sure if they noticed I was like jelly.
