Tubi is rounding out the cast of its workplace comedy starring Lauren Graham The Z-Suite with new guest stars.
Rhys Darby (The Flight of the Concordes), Mark McKinney (Hypermarket), Dani Kind, Nadine Djoury, Richard Waugh and Peter Keleghan landed guest star roles. They join previously announced series regulars Graham, Madison Shamoun, Nico Santos, Spencer Stevenson, Anna Bezahler and Evan Marsh in filming the comedy in Toronto.
The original Tubi is set in a boutique New York advertising agency where generational divides pit the established C-Suite and rising Gen Z employees. After a business decision spirals out of control, the executives in charge of the agency are forced out and replaced by Z-Suite employees, whose skills and patience are put to the test.
Graham will play Monica Frazier, an advertising agency mogul who is fired as CEO and must find her way back into the company she helped build. In the latest casting announcements, McKinney will appear in the comedy as George, CEO of Boppin' Burger and the ad agency's biggest client, while Darby guest stars as a sardonic, successful advertising executive who always knows best.
Kind appears as assistant to the CEO at the advertising agency Atelier, while Djoury is the head of human resources. Waugh is a long-time employee and Keleghan owns Atelier. Kate O'Brien writes The Z-Suite and serves as showrunner, while Graham serves as executive producer on Tubi's first original live-action series.
“It's incredibly exciting to see The Z-Suite come to life with such an amazing roster of talent. Having them on board and witnessing their brilliant comedic performances has truly been a gift,” O'Brien said in a statement.
Lance Samuels, Samantha Levine, Daniel Iron, Eric Wattenberg, Gary Vaynerchuk and Matt Higgins also serve as executive producers. Tubi has global distribution rights to the series.
