Martha Stewart says Ryan Reynolds 'isn't that funny in real life'

Ryan Reynolds probably won't be giving Martha Stewart a good laugh anytime soon.

The celebrity chef shared her honest thoughts on the Deadpool and Wolverine featured during a recent appearance at Bilt Rewards in November Free rental game show. For one of the questions, she was asked which celebrities she thought Bilt members called “the most fun to hang out with.”

Automatically, Stewart guessed that her good friend Snoop Dogg was on the list, and she was right. However, she was a little shocked by the next person on the list.

“He's probably only on the list because he hides in his movies and you don't see his face – Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?” he asked before adding, “And you want to know something? It's not that funny in real life. No, it's not that funny. It's very serious.”

Once the final list, which included Taylor Swift, Reynolds and Snoop Dogg, was revealed, Stewart was asked if she would change the order. While she retained Snoop and the “Cruel Summer” singer, who she called “lovely,” the entrepreneur admitted to Bilt CEO and founder Ankur Jain that she would “take Ryan out and I'll put someone else in.”

As for who would replace the actor, Stewart said, “George Clooney, because he's funny. It's really nice to hang out with George.

Stewart clarified that Reynolds is “a good actor. He may act funny, but he's not funny. Maybe it can be fun again.”

“I’m going to get in trouble,” he joked. “He's my neighbor.”

It's been a busy month for Stewart as she released her new cookbook, Martha: The Cookbook: 100 Favorite Recipes, with Lessons and Stories from My Kitchenon October 22nd. RJ Cutler's Netflix documentary Martha it also debuted on Wednesday.
