Nicole Kidman cries at the “Lioness” premiere while talking about her red-hot career

In a career filled with so many, Nicole Kidman is on another hot streak.

The Oscar-winning actress won the Best Actress award last month at the Venice Film Festival for her critically acclaimed performance in Halina Reijn's gripping film Girljust to watch his new Netflix series The perfect couple rocket to #1 on the streaming charts days later. He will next star in the second season of Taylor Sheridan's Paramount+ series Lionesswhich debuts Sunday, and is about to jump in front of Amazon Studios' cameras Shoe alongside fellow Oscar winners Jamie Lee Curtis and Ariana DeBose and based on the novel by Patricia Cornwell.

So how does Kidman feel about all the good work being done right now? More good news for Kidman: This week it was revealed that she has been selected to receive this year's prestigious Sherry Lansing Leadership Award during The Hollywood Reporter's annual Women in Entertainment breakfast gala, scheduled for December 4 in Los Angeles. The actress, producer and philanthropist explained that she has a long history not only with Lansing but also with Paramount.

“I'm very, very happy to be able to do this,” Kidman said last night in accepting the honor. “Sherry Lansing and I have a long history, so this will allow me to be able to shine a light, not on myself, but on other women. This is what I want to talk about [at the event]. I am very happy that I was given this opportunity.”

He had a chance to find comfort Lioness co-stars like Zoe Saldaña and Morgan Freeman and reps like CAA's Kevin Huvane and Chris Andrews. Kidman made the scene at the Lioness afterparty at Layla where she hugged and held hands with many of them. Check out Kidman's night below.
