First released to the public in 1985, Nike Air Jordan sneakers are some of the most iconic shoes in pop culture. Available Saturday, October 5, at 7am PT/10pm ET, the new Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG sneakers ($180) come in a Midnight Black and Silver colorway and are instantly recognizable with their classic silhouette and style – and are perfect for casual or office wear.

Designed with premium leather, the shoes are lightweight with solid rubber outsoles for durability, traction and rebound. Nike's iconic stitched Swoosh logo comes in metallic gray to match the black toe midsole and mudguard to draw attention on the court or on the street. And as a throwback to the '80s, the shoes also feature the original Air Jordan logo on the outer collars.

Air Jordans first entered the shoe scene on April 1, 1985, during the basketball icon's run with the Chicago Bulls.
