Richard Gadd wins for baby reindeer

Richard Gadd took home the award for Outstanding Actor in a Limited Series for his role in Baby Reindeer at the 2024 Emmys.

He was against Travel companions Matt Bomer, Fargo'S Jon Hamm, Feud: Capote vs. Swans“Tom Hollander and Ripleyby Andrew Scott.

Netflix’s hit series entered the 2024 Emmys with 11 nominations, taking home awards for Outstanding Miniseries, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries for Jessica Gunning, Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, and more.

The 2024 Emmys are the second to take place this year, after the 2023 Emmys were postponed due to last year's dual writers' and actors' strikes.

Presenters on this year's biggest night of television include Kristen Wiig, Viola Davis, Lily Gladstone, Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Matt Bomer, Colin Farrell, Mindy Kaling, Jimmy Kimmel, Greta Lee, John Leguizamo, George Lopez, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jean Smart.

This year's nominees were led by FX Shogun (with 25 nominations) and The bear (23, record for a comedy series), Hulu Only murders in the building (21), HBO/Max True Detective: The Land of the Night (19) and Netflix The crown (18).

Netflix led all nominees with a total of 107 nominations, followed by FX with 93, HBO with 91, and Apple TV+ with 72. Disney as a whole, which includes projects on FX, ABC, Hulu, and Disney+, had a personal best 183 Emmy nominations this year.

The 76th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy, will broadcast live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Pacific Time and 8:00-11:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
