Sacha Baron Cohen and Rosamund Pike will live in an alternative society in Netflix's romantic comedy Women first.
Director Thea Sharrock (The beautiful game) directs the project that adapts the French-language film by director Eleonore Pourriat Je Ne Suis Pas Un Homme Facile. Katie Silbermann (Booksmart), Natalie Krinsky (The Gallery of Broken Hearts) and Cinco Paolo (Despicable Me) wrote the screenplay for the new film.
Women first follows a womanizer who is shocked when he suddenly lives in a world dominated by women, with an opinionated female counterpart adding to the complications.
A release date has not yet been announced.
Producers include Liza Chasin for 3dot Productions, along with Eleonore Dailly, Edouard de Lachomette and Four By Two Films.
