Season 5 extends the Roku Unscripted deal to Canada and Latin America

Fifth Season has expanded its sales partnership with Roku, taking over Roku's slate of unscripted originals for Latin America and Canada, in addition to territories already handled by Fifth Season.

Highlights of the deal, announced ahead of international TV market Mipcom later this month, include the second season of Roku's Honest renovations with Jessica Alba, Morimoto's sushi master, Cowboy UFO, Reptile royaltyAND Let's meet in Romean unscripted romantic comedy spin-off Let's meet in Paris from Hello Sunshine by Reese Witherspoon. These additions complement unscripted dishes like Fight to survive, Celebrity family food fightexecutive produced by Sofia Vergara, e The cupcake boys featuring former NFL stars Brian Orakpo and Michael Griffin.

Prior to Mipcom, Fifth Season closed multi-title deals with several international broadcasters for Roku's unscripted programming, including with Corus in Canada, M6+ for France and French-speaking Europe, and with RTL Deutschland and Seven. One Entertainment Group for Germany.

Unscripted formats are enjoying a resurgence in international markets as traditional broadcasters, hit by falling advertising revenue and rising production costs for fiction series, double down on cheaper reality and non-fiction.
