It's been a great year for the intersection of K-Pop and fashion. Idols have become a staple at nearly every major fashion week around the world.
Between Stray Kids’ Jisoo and Felix and Lee Know making waves at the Tommy Hilfiger show, and Twice’s Dahyun making her runway debut in the Michael Kors show during New York Fashion Week, K-Pop stars have already made a big impact on the fashion world this month, even before they hit Milan Fashion Week.
Just like what happened at the last Milan Fashion Week earlier this year, a number of K-Pop idols became the stars of the show at their respective events.
BTS's eldest member Jin attended Gucci's show, his first as the brand's official global ambassador. The singer was announced as the luxury fashion brand's latest ambassador last month. He joined NewJeans member Hanni, who also attended the show, Squid Games star Lee Jung Jae and Korean rapper Jay Park are among the brand's ambassadors.
Stray Kids' Versace ambassador Hyunjin was in attendance at the fashion house's Milan show. Designer Donatella Versace couldn't help but show off her love for the singer, even posing with a small plush toy of Hyunjin's iconic character and the group's latest album. Last month, Donatella posted a video of the singer visiting the designer's home for a special rehearsal for Stray Kids' upcoming world tour.
Ateez member San was also at Milan Fashion Week, where he attended Dolce & Gabbana's show on Saturday. Despite it being San's first time at MFW, he made himself comfortable during the show and its afterparty, even stopping to pose for a photo with music icon Madonna.
